Wellness Warrior Challenge (WWC) 2025
The following Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Wellness Warrior Challenge (WWC), organized by Human Resources Unit, hereinafter referred to as “the Organiser.”
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Challenge is open to all full-time employees of APU.
1.2 Participants must be in good physical and mental health. Individuals with pre-existing medical conditions are strongly advised to consult a licensed medical professional prior to registration.
1.3 Registration must be completed by 10 June 2025 through the official registration link provided by the Organiser.
2. Challenge Period
2.1 The Challenge will commence on 17 June 2025 and conclude on 16 September 2025.
2.2 Late registrations or participation outside the official dates will not be eligible for awards or official recognition.
3. Participation Requirements
3.1 All participants are required to:
– Submit accurate baseline data (body weight and fat percentage) at the start of the Challenge.
– Submit final measurements at the end of the Challenge.
– Participate in periodic check-ins or verification sessions as requested.
– Log weekly updates (steps or other required data) using the designated platform provided by the Organiser.
3.2 Data submitted must be verifiable through approved measurement tools, such as digital smart scales and fitness trackers. Screenshots and physical logs may be requested for audit purposes.
4. Award Categories & Prizes
Awards will be presented to top achievers in the following categories:
– Highest Weight Loss (Male & Female)
– Highest Body Fat % Reduction (Male & Female)
– Steps Challenge (Most Steps Accumulated Over Challenge Period)
Prizes for each category are as follows:
🥇 First Prize: RM800
🥈 Second Prize: RM500
🥉 Third Prize: RM300 (RM200 for Steps Challenge)
4.1 Participants are eligible to win in more than one category, provided they meet the specific criteria and ranking requirements for each. In cases where a participant qualifies for multiple awards, they will receive all corresponding prizes.
4.2 In the event of a tie, the Organiser reserves the right to conduct a final verification or select the winner based on supporting data.
5. Disqualification & Withdrawal
5.1 Participants may be disqualified if found to have:
– Submitted falsified data.
– Used performance-enhancing methods inconsistent with the Challenge’s health and wellness objectives.
– Violated the rules or spirit of fair competition.
5.2 Participants may withdraw voluntarily at any time but must inform the Organiser formally in writing.
6. Health & Safety Disclaimer
6.1 All participants engage in the Challenge at their own risk.
6.2 The Organiser shall not be held liable for any injuries, health complications or losses sustained during or resulting from participation in the Challenge.
7. Data Privacy & Use
7.1 By registering for the Wellness Warrior Challenge, participants acknowledge and consent to the collection, use and processing of their personal data for purposes related to the administration, monitoring and evaluation of the Challenge.
7.2 All personal information will be handled with strict confidentiality and in accordance with applicable data protection laws and institutional policies.
7.3 The Organiser will not disclose personal data to external parties, except as required by law or for official reporting purposes and in such cases, only aggregated or anonymized data will be shared.
8. Rights of the Organiser
8.1 The Organiser reserves the right to:
– Amend or revise the Terms & Conditions at any time.
– Cancel, suspend, or modify the Challenge in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
– Use anonymized data and Challenge outcomes for internal reporting and future programme planning.
8.2 All decisions made by the Organiser, including but not limited to winner selection, shall be final and not subject to appeal.
